ZARA CONVENTION CENTER — TERMS & CONDITIONS

Effective Date: August 2026

1. BOOKING & CONFIRMATION

A booking is confirmed only on receipt of the security deposit of ₹25,000.

Enquiries, whether verbal or written, do not constitute a confirmed booking.

A confirmation email will be sent to the address provided at the time of booking.

2. SECURITY DEPOSIT

A security deposit of ₹25,000 is collected at the time of booking, in addition

to the hall rent. The deposit is fully refundable upon completion of the event,

subject to the hall being handed back to the Management in the same condition in

which it was handed over, without any damage, alteration, or loss.

3. HALL RENT

The hall rent must be paid in full at least one week prior to the booking date.

All rates are inclusive of GST.

4. CHANGE OF DATE

Requests to change the event date may be accommodated without any additional

charges, subject to the availability of the hall and the Management’s approval.

5. CANCELLATION BY CLIENT

Cancellations must be communicated in writing to

zaraconventioncenterthykoodam@gmail.com or by calling +91 81290 22336.

A cancellation charge of ₹10,000 will be deducted from the security deposit and

the balance of ₹15,000 refunded.

6. CANCELLATION BY ZARA CONVENTION CENTER

In the event that Zara Convention Center must cancel a confirmed booking due to

natural calamity, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control, the

full security deposit will be refunded within 7–10 working days.

7. HALL USAGE

The hall must be vacated by the end of the booked time slot. Use beyond the

booked slot is subject to additional charges. Any damage caused to the property,

furniture, fittings, or equipment during the event will be charged to the client.

8. AIR CONDITIONING

For a 6 hour booking, air conditioning is included free for the first 3 hours.

For a full day booking, air conditioning is included free for the first 6 hours.

Each additional hour is charged at ₹5,000 per hour.

9. PROHIBITED ITEMS

Alcohol and other intoxicating substances are strictly prohibited in and around

the premises of Zara Convention Center and St Raphael’s Church Thykoodam.

10. LIABILITY

Zara Convention Center shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, or damage

to personal belongings brought onto the premises. Security of personal items is

the client’s responsibility.
